About Our School
Letter from Our Head of School
Dear Parents and Students,
As head of school for Insight School of Indiana, I'm pleased to tell you about our public, online school's mission and purpose.
While we accept students of all ability levels in grades 7–12, our school has special strengths in helping students who are struggling—for various reasons—in their education. Many factors can contribute to these struggles. Our approach is not to judge but to help students learn in the ways that work best for them.
What does it mean to be an online school? For most students, it means they attend school from the safety of home where they can focus on their studies without distractions, without peer pressure, and with the help of excellent Indiana-licensed teachers, caring counselors, advisors, and a parent or other adult acting as their "Learning Coach." Daily structure and lessons are provided through an engaging online school environment, where classes meet together virtually and learning progress occurs.
Once students successfully complete high school, they can consider postsecondary schooling options—from community college to vocational programs to a four-year college—or pursue a job in the workforce. That's why we've added Stride Career Prep to offer all Insight students career-focused electives.
If you choose to join us at Insight, and I hope you do, I look forward to welcoming you to a remarkably supportive school that aims to help students succeed.
